Arden House B&B is a warm and friendly guest house located in a peaceful setting on Queens Lane, just a few minutes' walk from the town centre and major attractions like Arundel Castle and Cathedral.
Overview
Arden House offers a "home-away-from-home" experience, with 6 cosy and comfortable rooms offering accommodation for up to 12 guests.
The property is a historic building, with the oldest part dating back 300 years as a stable and dwelling. The main structure was added in 1880, believed to have been built for workers at the nearby Swallow Brewery. It began operating as a guest house in 1967.
Accommodation and Amenities
The guest house has a choice of Double and Twin rooms, with either en-suite bathrooms or shared facilities. Rooms are well-appointed with amenities such as satellite TV, hospitality trays with tea and coffee, hairdryers, bathrobes & slippers, and free WiFi.
A plentiful continental-style breakfast is included in the standard rate, featuring fresh fruit, muesli, boiled eggs, and homemade treats. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for.
Location and Activities
Its superb location means guests can easily explore Arundel on foot. The B&B is an ideal base for a variety of activities, including exploring the South Downs National Park for walking and cycling, or visiting the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) centre nearby. On-site parking and lockable cycle storage is available, which is a valuable perk in Arundel, but must be booked in advance.
