Come spend time well with Crafted at Powdermills

In East Sussex - just over an hour’s train from London - Crafted at Powdermills sits around a 7-acre lake within 78 acres of private ancient woodlands. The hotel and members’ club has a creative mix of bedrooms, suites, cottages, and a lake house. There are 54 in total, with more in-nature options on the way.

Good food and drink flow throughout the day. The Restaurant is seasonally driven and fed by its own regenerative growing plots, The Pub offers both winter fires and summer BBQs, and The Kiosk is set up for coffee and grab-and-go and homemade options. The Parlour lounge and Green Room cocktail bar are social spaces for members and hotel guests for drinks, conversation or emails, while nomadic dining and private dinners are also available.

Guests and members can find a natural sense of wellbeing throughout the grounds. That starts on the lake with a freshwater wild swim, paddleboarding or full-moon kayaking, and continues across the many trails for walks, runs and rides. The Brick Barn has a gym with regular classes, while maker workshops are run in the Craft Barn and Art Studio. Two outdoor padel courts, lakeside wellness experiences and seasonal programming all form part of the wider Crafted experience.
