About

Over the last few years the facilities for visitors at Batsford Hollow have been sensitively enhanced, alongside the team's lakeside and land management work to enhance on site biodiversity.

In addition to the ongoing use for those who are coming for the established fishing activities, the facilities at Batsford Hollow are available for group bookings for environmental and/or health & well-being organisations.

A special package for group retreats at Batsford Hollow will be available.

Wander through the willows by the lake, cross the bridge and you've arrived at a little pool of peace in the middle of the High Weald area of natural beauty. Here you can lounge on the deck and watch the anglers cast lazily into water, keep an eye out for the bright flash of kingfishers, meet the geese and the resident cats, or plan hikes into the gentle hills of the South Downs National Park. Those who are lucky will be visited by Higgins, the hand-raised female pheasant.

Furnace Brook also has it's own microbrewery so you can try out some extremely local beer while you visit Furnace Brook.
