Knepp Camping

About

Knepp is a trailblazing 3,500-acre rewilding project in Sussex that has changed the way we think about nature and how we can heal our planet.

Since the rewilding project began in 2000, life has poured back into Knepp including nightingales, turtle doves and purple emperor butterflies – some of the rarest creatures in Britain. Roaming herds of cattle, ponies, pigs and deer shape the land, creating dynamic scrubland, wild meadows, wetland and wood pasture. Knepp is a story of hope, showing how nature can bounce back if we let it.

Stay in one of the breathtaking treehouses, beautiful shepherd’s huts or luxurious yurts, or simply pitch your own tent in the wild meadows campsite. On-site facilities include a wild swimming pond, bathroom facilities, wood-fired pizza oven, cooking facilities, yoga, sauna and more. Combine your stay with one of the guided Knepp safaris, taking you through 3,500 acres of natural habitat heaving with wildlife or discover the Rewilded Walled Garden on self-guided or guided tour.
