The ABYSS Brewery + Tap opened in Lewes in October 2021. The Davey’s Lane area of Lewes is steeped in brewing history. The Brewery + Tap is inside an old Maltings building that used to serve the South Downs Brewery (still proudly standing next door in Thomas Street). 

On site, we are pouring 12 taps of deliciously fresh ABYSS beer, plus guest beers and a selection of low intervention wines and cocktails. Boho Baja (the team behind The Pelham Arms) are serving Southern Californian inspired Tacos + Burgers from a vintage airstream. There is also freshly roasted coffee available from our neighbours Tigermoth Roastery.
