Located in the heart of East Grinstead, Chequer Mead Theatre is an intimate theatre that offers quality shows from musicals to stand-up comedy nights, with talks from acclaimed speakers to touring ballet productions, there are a huge selection of shows and events to suit all tastes.  Chequer Mead also shows event cinema screenings, including the National Theatre Live programme. Chequer Mead's in-house café, The Apron caters for lunches, afternoon teas, pre-show meals, as well as catering for events within the venue."
