An award winning family friendly sand and pebble beach which is over a mile long making it the perfect location for seaside fun or some much needed relaxation. Stroll along the promenade, sit on Britain’s longest bench and admire the view or take a dip in the sea. Our sand is perfect for sandcastles and when the sea goes out you can explore the tide pools for underwater creatures.

East Beach is bordered by our large seafront greens, perfect for picnics, ball games and host to various events throughout the year.

The beach is patrolled by RNLI Lifeguards throughout the summer season and Kidcare wristbands are available to help give you peace of mind whilst you enjoy your visit.

There are three Pay & Display car parks on the seafront, including spaces for coaches at Banjo Road.

Dogs are restricted to the area East of Norfolk Road between the 1st May to 30^th September.
