About

Raystede is an animal welfare charity and working rescue centre, helping around 2,000 local animals every year.

Many of the animals have been neglected, abused or exploited. Raystede helps most of the animals find new homes but also provides life-long sanctuary for some animals that cannot be rehomed.

Our 43 acre site is open to the public, however it's not a zoo, a farm, or a fun park - it is a place where animals can feel safe. Entrance is free but tickets must be booked online in advance.
