About

Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is one of the largest and most important wildlife sites in England, set in an exceptional coastal and wetland landscape and home to more than 4,355 species of plants and animals including 300 that are rare or endangered.

The Discovery Centre is accessible to all and open daily from 10am to 4pm. The Lime Kiln Café offers a seasonal menu of hot and cold food and drinks, that can be enjoyed with stunning views across the saltmarsh.

We are a wheelchair friendly venue, with a step-free, entrance ramp. There are toilet facilities, including two that are wheelchair accessible and one that offers baby changing facilities.
