St Mary's is a Grade 1 listed church awarded a Major Parish Church status and was founded in 1115 to serve the community which had grown up around the Abbey. Come and see the impressive 3 metre Battle Tapestry. It's a haven of peace and a church of great historical importance. Rare wall paintings, crusader knight crosses carved into the walls by their swords and so much more to see. Open every day.
