About
St Mary's House and Gardens are now open for the summer of 2025
This beautifully restored manor house was built around 1470 by the Bishop of Winchester as a pilgrim's inn.
Since then it has had an extraordinarty history and many colourful owners !
It is now prtivately owned by Peter and Roger who have lived here for the past 40 years and today welcome visitors from all over the world to their beautiful home.
It is open every THURSDAY and SUNDAY afternoon from 2:00pm - with last entry at 4:30pm.
There are volunteer guides to tell the stories of each room and 5 acres of landscaped gardens to be explored and, of course, a delightful tearoom.
